Register / Organize a Litter Cleanup
Each year for Creek Week, Keep Durham Beautiful helps groups in the local community pick up litter around roads, parks, and, most importantly, creeks! Since 2009, volunteers have picked up 223,563 pounds of trash during Creek Week. We need your help to keep Durham's drinking water clean and our waterways beautiful.
Save the date for Creek Week 2026: March 14-21
Volunteers can create a cleanup team with a group of family, friends or co-workers. Register a site that you know you want to clean up. If you don't have a particular site in mind, our staff can assist you in locating a cleanup site.

KDB will provide litter cleanup supplies for your group. Supply pickup will occur at 2011 Fay Street.
