  • March 2024 Meeting Follow Up

    We gathered at the HUB Farm in March under the pavillion for a visioning session of what we’d like the community garden network to be. Please find the notes here from our March Gathering of the Durham Community Garden Network. 

  • October 17 Gathering at SEEDS

    We gathered for a tour with Erin Holden, Executive Director of SEEDS on a beautiful evening to walk through the garden, explore their initiatives, and then discussed needs and collaboration opportunties. Find the notes here.

  • Quarterly Gathering Plan

    • When we last met in March 2024 at the Durham Hub Farm, our group suggested we meet quarterly at community gardens around Durham to network and learn from each other.

  • Gardens for Everyone - Inter-Faith Food Shuttle wants to help you get started by building a 4’ x 8’ raised-bed garden box with you and supporting you along the way from seed to harvest. Sliding fee from $25-$200.

Keep Durham Beautiful

  • Tool Lending Library

  • Wood Chips - at certain times of the year, City Urban Forestry donates wood chips to KDB for use by community spaces, contact info@keepdurhambeautiful.org to request wood chips.

  • Volunteers - contact info@keepdurhambeautiful.org to request a group of volunteers. Volunteers and gardens are matched at mutually convenient times. Garden must provide someone to guide volunteers.
