4. Emma Thomas and Luke Jones Garden- DUke Park

Butterfly weed, echinacea, goldenrod, bee balm, spiderwort, moss phlox and a weeping dwarf redbud. Also featured is an all-pink container garden.

5. Rogers-Price Garden- Forest Hills

clematis Armanii on the brick and stone walls, two thunbergii pines, a Japanese styrax, a fringe tree, a moss garden, epimedium, Solomon’s seal.

6. Frank’s Cottage Garden - Duke Park

Peonies, white bearded iris, native sourwood tree with edible leaves, Mediterranean plants like candytuft and dianthus in bloom, a mature bayleaf tree at the street, many kinds of tomato plants, as the owner is writing a book called "Ripe Tomato Revolution."

7. SHERIDAN GARDEN - Old North Durham
