Join Keep Durham Beautiful to plant trees in Lyon Park Neighborhood in West End area of Durham.
This tree planting is made possible by a grant from the NC Urban Forest Council, with additional support from Durham Academy and donations from Durham residents.
Everyone is welcome to come help us plant - no experience is necessary! We will begin with a tree planting demonstration. Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Shovels and gloves will be provided; if you would like to bring your own shovels please make sure they are labeled with your name.
Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes and dress in layers for the weather. Wear a mask while near others, and practice social distancing with those not in your household.
