Join Councilwoman Vernetta Alston of Ward 3 on October 5th, 2019, from 9am to 11am for a morning litter pick at the Shoppes of Lakewood near Jersey Avenue and Lafayette Street. Volunteers can park towards the back of the shopping center then walk up to Jersey and Lafayette. The corner of Jersey and Lafayette will be the meeting point.

It is recommended to wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Keep Durham Beautiful will provide gloves, litter grabbers and bags. Please help us reduce waste by bringing your own reusable water bottle if you have one!
