(CANCELLED): Tu B’shvat Tree Planting

  • Entrance of Beaver Marsh Preserve Ambridge Street Durham, NC, 27704 United States (map)

Due to inclement weather, the City/County Sustainability office and Keep Durham Beautiful have decided to cancel this event. The trees we were planning on planting here will be incorporated into the tree planting with Fullsteam on the 2nd. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Join Keep Durham Beautiful, the City-County Sustainability Office, the Jewish Federation of Durham-Chapel Hill, and the Israel Center as we celebrate Tu B'shvat: the New Year for Trees in the Jewish calendar! Volunteers will meet by the Beaver Marsh Preserve entrance at the end of Ambridge Street, and then walk to plant trees along Club Boulevard. Plenty of on street parking is available.

Tools, gloves, vests, trees and instruction will be provided. Please dress for the weather in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle. Personal gloves and shovels are welcome. For additional information about this planting event, please contact:
