While this past summer's heat put a halt to regular clean ups, The Friends of Geer Cemetery are ready to invite volunteers back to make an impact on the cemetery grounds during the cooler fall weather.

Join FOGC and other community members on Saturday, September 9th from 9AM to 11AM for a morning of removing vines and weeds.

Plan to wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and bring sunscreen/bug spray. If you have your own gloves, tarps, or snippers/loppers please bring them. If you have a string weed eater that you would like to use for this work, please bring it as the weeds are high and have begun to cover the areas that were cleaned earlier this spring. (If you don't have any of this equipment, there will be gloves, tarps, and rakes to share).
