WHAT IS A LITTER LEADER?

Litter Leaders are volunteers that are committed to litter prevention in Durham. Litter Leaders will be trained on litter cleanup safety, cleanup operating procedures, and the basics of promotional strategies. Once you have received training, we will provide the resources necessary to be an advocate and leader. With Creek Week approaching, we need all the help we can get to host cleanup events throughout Durham!

WHY SHOULD YOU BE A LITTER LEADER?

  • Be a community leader by sharing resources and information about litter prevention

  • Get to know new spots and new people in Durham

  • Spend time outdoors making Durham clean and beautiful

  • Help expand our capacity to do more good!
