Please join Keep Durham Beautiful and TreesDurham on February 1, 2020 from 1:30 - 4:30PM and help plant trees at Durham School of the Arts.

We will plant 25 trees, which will be a combination of flowering and shade trees, with a focus on native species. The locations were chosen to provide shade to the buildings and play areas as well as tree canopy for Duke Street. The trees are provided by TreesDurham and the City of Durham and all will be planted on or on the perimeter of the DSA Campus near downtown. DSA stands for the Durham School of the Arts, a public magnet combined middle and high school. Students and parents from DSA will volunteer, but will need additional volunteers.

Training in tree planting, shovels, and gloves will be provided. However, if you have an extra shovel to bring along, that would be great! Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water! People of all ages are welcome.
