​Become intimate with a section of one of our local creeks. Modeled after "River Tracing," a popular adventure activity in Taiwan, this immersive and educational experience will have you walking along, wading in, and bushwhacking beside a section of Ellerbee Creek through Durham. We'll follow the creek on it's convoluted and altered​ course along greenways, through parks, under highways and parking lots​. We will witness, learn, and experience it​'s vulnerability, history, importance, and ​connection​ with our community. This adventure is not appropriate for children. Participants will ​get dirty, wet, and ​be challenged​ :)

You must provide your​ own clothing/footwear (that can get dirty and wet), and a headlamp or flashlight​ (limited clothing and gear can be provided with advanced request)​. A more comprehensive ​gear ​list will be provided for registered guests. Event is weather and water level dependent. Participants can register here!
