The Triangle Area and Piedmont of NC has many beautiful sections of river sprinkled with fun Class I-III rapids. Join Frog Hollow Outdoors for a downriver guided instructional river trip. Kayaks used for these sessions are user-friendly solo kayaks (recreational or day touring styles). While paddling through a mix of flat water and Class I-II rapids, guests will gain an understanding of trip logistics/planning, river safety, river reading skills, boat control, stroke mechanics, river navigation, and more.
