Join us for an exciting outdoor adventure to celebrate Creek Week at the Duke Forest Shepherd Nature Trail! This family-friendly event, perfect for ages 6 and up, invites you to explore the wonders of a local creek and have hands-on experience discovering creek critters which could include amphibians and macroinvertebrates. Led by expert and Duke Professor Dr. Ron Grunwald and dedicated staff from Durham City and County Stormwater, participants will learn about the vital role of creeks in our ecosystem and how we can protect them for future generations.

Get your hands wet as you explore the creek, search for hidden critters, and gain valuable insights into the importance of creek conservation.
