Keep Durham Beautiful is offering FREE flower bulbs for pickup January 3 and 5, 2024. Durham groups including: neighborhoods, community gardens, faith-based organizations, garden clubs, other clubs, schools, civic groups, businesses, and other organizations may register.
KDB will have over 100 packets of bulbs to distribute in January 2024. Your group may complete the form below between now and December 31, 2023. We will notify groups that they have been selected to receive flower bulbs. Packets may include a mix of daffodils, tulips. lilies, and more.
Please register by midnight on Sunday December 31 to be considered. You will need to make arrangements to pick up your packet of bulbs from 2011 Fay Street on Wednesday January 3 or Friday January 5 from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
To be eligible to receive bulbs, your group MUST:
- be located within Durham County
- have someone able to pick up on designated day(s)
- be able to plant within one week of receiving
- planted by volunteers of an eligible group in Durham
- plant in a space visible to the public such as in a community, school, faith-based or neighborhood common space or street front
One entry per group please. Please note that this giveaway is not intended for individual homeowners to beautify their personal property.
