Into the City Program

Duke University and two Durham Neighborhoods teamed up to improve the appearance of their community. Students and local residents fanned out across the Old Farm Neighborhood and the neighborhoods surrounding Holt School Park (Argonne Hills, ???, and ???.) The volunteers assisted pre-reistred elderly or disabled homeowners by doing mowing, pruning, planting, raking, weeding and painting. Holt School Road Parks picnic shelter also got a new coat of paint.
